Capital Market Research Seminar: new insights in accounting and finance research

The event is run by the Accountability, Governance and Capital Market hub.

Speaker

Prof Bjorn Jorgensen is a professor of accounting at Copenhagen Business School and was previously professor at London School of Economics. His research is on the presentation and use of information in decision settings with uncertainty. His focus is on publicly-traded companies and their financial reporting, including accounting-based valuation, aggregation of information, auditing, and contracting.

This talk is a must for early career researchers and PhD students who are considering which areas to focus on in their research. It will also be of interest to senior academics who intend to supervise PhD students to highlight areas of research significance.

Booking is essential to attend this event.
