University Mental Health Day 2023

This is an online event and you can join by clicking here, and using the passcode poK5JB.

According to NHS England, one in four adults and one in 10 children will experience a mental health condition. Mental health is equally important as our physical health. Just like we pay attention to physical problems by speaking to someone and/or booking an appointment with the healthcare, it is equally vital that we acknowledge and respond to symptoms of mental health problem we experience.

The School of Law, Social and Behavioural Sciences (LSBS) are pleased to invite you to a free online event, which consists of a series of short talks on the effects of nutrition, exercise/fitness and meditation on mental health and overall psychological wellbeing.

We are delighted to welcome Sarah Olney, Liberal Democrat MP for Richmond Park and North Kingston, who will be sharing her message on the need to improve NHS mental health services for children and young people.

All are welcome to this event.
