World Mental Health Day 2023

Mental health is equally as important as physical health. In the UK, one in four people experience a mental health problem every year. It is crucial that we gain an insight into the significance of mental health challenges in the country and the need for increased awareness, support, and access to mental health services to benefit children, young people and adults across our community, in the UK and around the world.

We cordially invite you to attend this year's World Mental Health Day, organised by the School of Law, Social and Behavioural Sciences. The event will consist of a series of lightening talks on mental health services for young people, experiencing mindfulness, self care and wellbeing.

We have invited a spokesperson from Mind who will discuss mental health services offered for young people. A professional fitness trainer will talk about the importance of fitness on enhancing mental health and will deliver a HIIT workout.
