Neurodiversity as a lens for creating an inclusive learning environment

In the context of our NEC project on Neuroinclusivity, we are pleased to invite you to Kingston Hill campus presentation on neurodivergence.  You will access expertise and lived experience from academics and researchers from the departments of education, social work, nursing, psychology and the Peer Autism Network and ADHD Embrace charity (featured speakers). Presented in the context of BA Ed students, but open to others, this session will focus on understanding ADHD, sharing experiences of children and students with ADHD in educational settings, discussing diagnosis processes, shedding light on ADHD in girls, and exploring effective strategies and tools for supporting students with ADHD in education settings, including higher education. Following the presentations, there will be opportunity for networking and a Q&A session over light lunch.
