Dorich House Museum family half-term workshop

A Cabinet of Curiosities

What is your favourite place? What objects do you collect to remember your favourite places?

Explore collecting through a family arts and crafts workshop. Go on a guided tour to learn about Dora's special objects and her favourite places. Children get a chance to make their own memorable object to put in our cabinet of curiosities.

Dorich House was the studio home of the sculptor Dora Gordine and her husband Richard Hare. Built in 1936, and restored by Kingston University in 1994, Dorich House is a fascinating example of modernist design.

Create and decorate your own dream room, just like Dora Gordine! Suitable for ages 5–13 years.
