Speaker(s): James Jones
How do you go about reporting from some of the most dangerous and closed regimes on earth?
Multi-award winning independent producer and director James Jones has tackled everything from Britain's slum landlords to getting inside North Korea, Iraq's internal battle with Al-Qaeda militants and China's Death Row for the BBC and Channel 4's Dispatches.
His programmes use secret filming, sometimes by non-professional locals where Western journalists are unable to operate. James will show clips from his work and in conversation with Kingston visiting professor Samira Ahmed discuss methods, ethics and boundaries for reporting on some of the most difficult and closed regimes.
Don't miss this final lecture!
