My desktop anywhere

The new My Desktop Anywhere service uses VMware Horizon Cloud and gives Kingston University students and staff access to the standard University Windows Desktop desktop environment from most places with an internet connection, both on and off campus. It can be accessed from any device (computer, laptop, smartphone or tablet).

For a more stable connection, the best way to start a Desktop Session is by using the VMware Horizon Client. Alternatively, Desktop sessions can be initiated via an Internet / Web Browser.

The new My Desktop Anywhere service benefits from Single Sign-on (SSO) and Copy & Paste to your local environment capability.
