If you're entering the UK on a visa, and you have been issued with a BRP card and not digital immigration status, your immigration status and your conditions of stay will be recorded on a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) card. Personal information that can be used to identify you (such as your unique physical characteristics, fingerprints, photograph etc.) are also stored on the card.
If you have been granted digital immigration status al the conditions of your visa will be outlined in the Decision Email you received when your visa was granted.
You can also view and prove your immigration status online, via the ‘view and prove your immigration status' service. This online service provides a secure record and proof of your immigration status which is held digitally by the Home Office and which is available to you at all times. To use this service, you will need to use your UK Visas and Immigration account log in.
You must have your BRP card to enrol at Kingston University.
When you complete your visa application, you will be asked to enter the postcode of the UK post office where you would like to pick up your BRP card.
The closest post office to Kingston is in New Malden. The full address is – New Malden Post Office, 150 High Street, New Malden, KT3 4ER.
