Nursing and midwifery

We excel in teaching nursing and midwifery; we're leading London in midwifery, children's nursing and mental health nursing, and nationally, with our mental health nursing ranked second overall, and children's nursing ranked fifth in the UK (The Guardian University Guide League Tables 2023).

Education, teaching and social work

Kingston has over 100 years of experience in delivering teaching and education courses, with a particular emphasis on inclusive practice in the classroom. We're also part of one of the largest social work teaching partnerships in the country, with seven local authorities and two voluntary agencies.

Life sciences, pharmacy and chemistry

The School of Life Sciences, Pharmacy and Chemistry offers an outstanding and diverse portfolio of programmes in biological and biomedical sciences, chemistry, forensic science, sport science, nutrition and pharmaceutical sciences with state-of-the-art facilities. We have excellent links with industry and partners, including GlaxoSmithKline.
