Research project: Mitigation of Cyber Threats for IoT Platforms using Microservices Applications

Abstract

The microservice architecture is a technology that has been increasingly gaining popularity in the last few years, both in academia and in the industrial world. In particular, the shift towards microservices has become a sensitive task for several industries involved in a major refactoring of their back-end systems. IoTs platforms and networks inherit the microservice architecture in a time where research contributions in the domain need to provide more to the discipline and offer critical viewpoint on the topic. Hence this calls for a broader survey investigating along this line.
