Senior Lecturer of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics
About
As a Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, I bridge the gap between cutting-edge academic research and the practical, high-stakes needs of the industry. My mission is to equip the next generation of cybersecurity professionals with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to defend against evolving digital threats.
During my postdoctoral research at Kingston University and Liverpool John Moores University, I have contributed to various EU and UK projects, e.g. EU FP7 S3isE, EU H2020 Wi-5 and UK EPSRC DARE, in areas such as cognitive radio, radio resource allocation, IoT, next-generation WiFi, SDN, Public safety communication, amongst others. I have also obtained the Cisco Certification and industry experience to design efficient networks and their security frameworks, e.g. routing and switching protocols, VPN, intrusion prevention systems.
My general research interests include physical layer security, radio access technologies, 5G and beyond, spectrum sensing, Internet-of-Things protocols, drone-based cellular communications, blockchain, cryptography and various security aspects in network and telecommunication.
I am always looking for PhD students with a good background in cyber security, federated learning, wireless technologies and mathematical analysis. Please get in touch with me directly if you are interested.
