Standard courses
The dates apply to students on standard courses. If you're not enrolled on a standard course, you will receive instructions from the relevant admissions team.
- 2 March 2026: CAS Shield opens
We recommend engaging with your CAS Shield process as soon as you have accepted an unconditional offer to study with us. You can find out more on our CAS webpage. - 07 August 2026: Admissions application deadline
Applications for this intake must be submitted by this date. We can’t accept any applications after this date. If you miss the deadline, you’re welcome to apply for a future intake through the course page or for undergraduate courses you can apply direct. - 12 August 2026: Admissions confirmation deadline
To secure your place, you will need to submit all required documents and meet any outstanding offer conditions by this date. - 14 August 2026: Deposit deadline (for postgraduate taught applicants only)
Your tuition deposit should have been transferred, cleared and received by us by this date. - 14 August 2026: CAS Shield completed deadline
To give you the best opportunity to secure your student visa and arrive in time for the start of your course, a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) will not normally be issued after this date.
Please complete your CAS Shield requirements as early as possible. This is particularly important for applicants from Bangladesh, India, Nigeria and Pakistan, where visa processing times can be longer.
Where additional time may be needed, or there is a greater risk of visa delays, we will provide guidance and support throughout the process.
In some circumstances, applicants may still be considered after the published deadlines for paying the non-refundable deposit, completing the CAS Shield process and being issued with a CAS. This will only apply where visa processing times are sufficiently quick and there is a realistic prospect of arriving by the course start date, or an exceptionally approved latest arrival date.
- 21 September 2026: Welcome Week begins
- 28 September 2026: Teaching starts

This is also the final date to confirm your offer with us. - 17 July 2026: Deposit deadline (for postgraduate taught applicants only)
Your tuition deposit should have been transferred, cleared and received by us by this date. - 17 July 2026: CAS request deadline
We won’t be able to accept CAS requests after this date. This is to make sure you have enough time to secure your student visa. - 17 July 2026: Pre-CAS interview deadline
Applicants from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are strongly encouraged to complete the Pre-CAS interview by this date. This is to help ensure your CAS is issued on time. - 1 September 2026: Welcome Week begins
- 7 September 2026: Teaching starts
