Research project: The effects of alcohol on cognitive processes underlying social anxiety

Abstract

The project looks at how alcohol may sometimes be used by people with high levels of social anxiety to ameliorate their anxiety. It focuses on how certain kinds of cognitive bias associated with social anxiety are altered by the consumption of alcohol.
