Kingston University Seedcorn Funding is designed to enable businesses and charities to access our specialist academic expertise, knowledge and research to develop your innovation capabilities to help your business thrive.
You can apply for up to £10,000 funding to cover the cost of academic time towards an innovative project which has commercial potential and supports Kingston University's priority to be world-leading in innovative business partnerships.
Funds will primarily cover academic expertise to support your organisation with an innovative* project for which you do not currently have in-house expertise.
*An innovative project is strategic and supports your organisation with change with the aim of growth.

You must be a business or charity registered in the UK.
Proposed projects should lead to increased innovation within your business and require the specialist expertise, facilities or resource of Kingston University.
Please complete this expression of interest online form providing details of your organisation and project no later than Monday 14 November 2022.
Please note: expressions of interest received earlier are more likely to secure funding, as there will be more time available before the final application deadline to develop your project and secure a Kingston University academic to support the project. You are advised to express your interest as soon as possible.
If your project fits the objectives of the scheme, you will then be contacted by a member of the Partnerships and Business Engagement Team to discuss it in more detail.
Please note there is limited funding available and not all projects will be taken forwards.
