Dr Kevin Axel N'Guessan

About

I completed my undergraduate degree (BSc) in accounting from Central University (Ghana), my master's degree (MSc) in Accounting and Finance before moving on to do a PhD in accounting from Kingston University. Moreover, I also hold an advanced diploma in management Accounting (CIMA adv. dip) and a fellowship in higher education (AFHEA).

I am currently a Lecturer in management accounting. My teaching expertise includes management accounting, financial reporting, financial accounting and financial management.

My research focuses on corporate disclosures, earnings management and executive compensation.

Research

My research lies mainly in the financial reporting area, and specifically in earnings management. My PhD dissertation examined the effect of executive pay and earnings management on the readability of the remuneration report.
