I am a Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing and joined Kingston University after working as a consultant to design modelling tools to help water utilities to best manage scarce water resources in England.
Prior to that I was a Research Associate at the University of Manchester where I worked as an engineering systems modeler to lead regulatory, hydro-economic and agricultural engineering analyses of innovative water management and planning approaches, in the context of both national and international projects.
I completed my PhD at University College London in Engineered Water Resource Systems Analysis. I also hold MEng and BEng degrees in Environmental Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari.
My research interests include: water resources planning and management, systems analysis applied to water infrastructure systems, supply-demand capacity expansion optimisation modelling, regulatory economics, hydro-economic modelling, regional water trading and water markets, smart metering and dynamic pricing.
