I am a module leader for the PG Diploma Step Up To Social Work programme and Practice Education Stage 1 programme. As a Sub Regional Assessor (SRA) I support apprentices on the BA (hons) Social Work integrated Apprenticeship degree programme.

I have experience working with children and families for over ten years in the UK. Prior to that I practiced social work in a school and in non- government Organisations (NGOs) in Jamaica.  My research interest is exploring and promoting the effectiveness of social work interventions in groups and communities to address systemic barriers in society.
