Cultural Histories at Kingston double feature: Representing mobilities

Cultural Histories at Kingston celebrates the publication of Researching and Representing Mobilities: Transdisciplinary Encounters (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014) with two papers by the editors.

Lesley Murray is senior lecturer in the School of Applied Social Science, University of Brighton, UK. She is the co-editor of Mobile Methodologies (with Ben Fincham and Mark McGuinness) and is a trans-disciplinary researcher whose interests centre on everyday mobilities and their socio-cultural contexts.

Sara Upstone is associate professor of English literature at Kingston University, UK. She is the author of Spatial Politics in the Postcolonial Novel and British Asian Fiction: Twenty-first-century Voices and co-editor of Postcolonial Spaces: the Politics of Place in Contemporary Culture (with Andrew Teverson).
