Superpiano: the piano inside out

Kate Ryder, renowned for pushing the boundaries of her instrument, performs recent music for piano and electronics exploring new dimensions of sound and resonance.

The programme also features a cross section of new music commissioned by Kate for piano and "pnoscan", a midi device capable of creating unusual sounds and effects within the instrument.
