Journalism lunchtime lecture with Samira Ahmed

Visiting professor Samira Ahmed, former Channel 4 News reporter and current presenter of Sunday Morning Live, a topical discussion programme on BBC One, will be talking about 'Crowds, clouds and packaging'.

She will look at the latest ways to find, research and develop stories, incorporating networks such as Twitter.

The second half of the session will look at how to package stories and structure them for your audience and medium – from the short broadcast news summary to longer and multimedia online features with embedded audio and video.

Until then you can follow her on Twitter @SamiraAhmedUK.
