Dr Emmanouil Noikokyris is a senior lecturer in accounting and finance at Kingston University. He has a PhD in finance from the University of Essex, as well as an MSc and a BA in accounting and finance.
His research interests and teaching areas cover a wide range of economic and financial areas, including central banking, macroeconomic developments in world economies, and asset prices. He has presented his work at a number of international conferences, and has published research on topics including monetary policy, oil prices, and equity returns. He has previously spent some time working in the banking and business consulting sectors.
He is happy to provide background information and explanations on financial stories of the day, as well as drafting commentary pieces as monetary stories develop across the globe. He can talk about European markets as well as those further afield.
