Dr Erkan Alkan

About

I hold a PhD degree in psychology, specialising in neural, cognitive, and metacognitive differences in schizophrenia. My doctoral research and publications have contributed to the current literature and treatment strategies in this field. Over the years, I have actively participated in cross-disciplinary research projects, gaining valuable experience both at the University of Surrey and during a three-year tenure in Turkey. Additionally, I served as a Research Fellow at the University of Suffolk, where I contributed to a project focused on enhancing the future health workforce.

Presently, I am engaged as a research associate at Kingston University, working on a project dedicated to addressing the retention challenges faced by home-visiting community nurses in England.
