Dr Gerald Skelton

Lecturer in Drama

About

I hold a PhD in contemporary rehearsal methodologies for classical play-texts from Kingston University. My academic research and professional practice looks at the intersection of movement, improvisation and Stanislavsky's 'system' for actors and directors. I received my MA in classical theatre from Kingston and my MFA in directing from The Theatre School at DePaul University. I've written, produced or directed over 125 productions in London, New York, Chicago and Boston.
