About

I am a qualified Registered Nurse and Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) with eighteen years of community public health experience. I am an experienced clinician having worked extensively with vulnerable communities, families and individuals with promoting public health and safeguarding at the heart of my practice. I am also sexual health and contraception trained and ran family planning clinics for several years.

As a health visitor practice educator, I developed a specialist interest in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and post qualifying students as well as the wider qualified and skill mix team. I am an NMC registered Nurse Teacher (PGCE Practice Education) and have an MA in Health Promotion and Health Education with a special interest in community and global health.
