Ms Rose Gridneff

Associate Professor and Course Leader BA Graphic Design

About

I have worked in Higher Education since 2006, teaching at London College of Communication, Winchester School of Art, University of Brighton and UCA Epsom. I joined Kingston School of Art in 2017 and am responsible for the BA in Graphic Design.

A letterpress practitioner, I have worked collaboratively with Alexander Cooper  under the name of Workshop since 2009. Creating primarily self-initiated work, we have exhibited and lectured internationally, including conferences such as AIGA (USA), College Arts Association (USA), and ATypI (Barcelona). I have undertaken residencies at the Plantin Moretus Museum (Antwerp), and Archivio di Sacchi (Milan) that explored the relationship between typography, print and location.

I am currently working on a collaborative research project that seeks to map and interrogate letterpress practice within higher education.
