Kingston University's Enterprising Women's Network has been running successfully for several years.

Sessions will often include theoretical input, with interactive activities and plenty of networking opportunities. Each workshop will also feature a guest speaker who will share their business start-up experiences.

We also focus on making commitments to take away before the following session.

We welcome women at any stage of growing their enterprise - from having an idea, through to running a more establish business or not-for-profit venture.

In this session we will be looking at Cialdini's 6 powers of persuasion to consider how we can use them to maximum effect in our customer communication and our sales processes. Many of us have much to offer but do we always explain why the client should buy from us? Do we always demonstrate how we set ourselves apart from others? The 6 powers of persuasion work together to build your credibility and encourage your customer to trade with you. Whether you sell face to face in under a minute or offer your goods and services from a website with a long pre-sale period, you can learn how to make your technique more effective
