All are welcome to this conference, in which staff and students will be showcasing research from within the Faculty of Business and Social Science (FBSS). The conference will offer the opportunity for academic staff and research students to not only present their research, but exchange ideas for collaborations and receive feedback to enhance the quality of their research papers. Given the times in which we live, we have chosen the theme of 'Uncertainty' for this conference; a theme that can be interpreted from a range of different perspectives across the social sciences.

This year we have the following awards:

• Best conference paper
• Best paper by a new researcher
• Best presentation
• Best poster

The conference will be informal and supportive with plenty of opportunity for networking.The conference will be informal and supportive with plenty of opportunity for networking. The format of the presentations will be:

• Full Papers: 20 min for presentation and discussion
• Short Papers and work in progress: 10 min for presentation and discussion of development papers and/ or research ideas
• Poster presentations: All PhD students will have a Poster showcasing their research. Staff can also present their paper(s) in Poster(s)
