You will develop extensive practical and research skills in our £6.8 million laboratories featuring industry standard equipment. Our courses are taught by internationally recognised researchers ensuring your learning reflects current practice. Guest speakers from the pharmaceutical and forensics industries will also support your learning.
An independent research project will provide you the opportunity to research an area of interest in depth, within industry or as collaborative research with other laboratories.
Each of our courses offer an optional year integrated work placement programme to help you gain valuable, practical industry experience and provide you the opportunity to link your studies to a professional environment.
The Pharmacy Practice (Overseas Pharmacists Assessment Programme) course is accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPC), meaning after your placement you will take exams from the GPC to gain membership onto the UK register of pharmacists. Other accredited courses include recognition from The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences for our postgraduate Forensic Science course.
