I am a lecturer and writer based in London. In 2018 I completed a TECHNE/AHRC funded PhD at the Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy, Kingston University, London, titled ‘Compilation and Critique: The Essay as a Literary, Cinematographic and Videographic Form'. My research interests include modern and contemporary art history and theory; theories of film, photography, and digital culture; experimental film and artists' moving image; documentary and archival practices; critical theory and continental philosophy; the politics of art and labour. My writing has appeared in various publications, including Art Monthly, Sight & Sound, Film International, Radical Philosophy, Third Text, Philosophy of Photography, and Historical Materialism. I am an editor at the journal Philosophy of Photography.
