Jamie Irving

About

Having grown up in London, I completed my architectural studies between the University of Bath and Accademia di architettura, Mendrisio with the Università della Svizzera italiana faculty scholarship.

I am an architect and lecturer at Kingston School of Art, having run design studios on both the undergraduate and postgraduate architecture programmes as well as leading summer school research projects within the wider faculty. I gained professional experience at Allies and Morrison and Adam Khan Architects, where I became part of the associate group, working with arts institutions and local authorities on public infrastructure and housing projects in London.

Alongside teaching I make architecture, design and research as half of Entropic Group. We are interested in how we can make spaces that enhance our environments and ways of living together. The work is based on (re)discovering old and new ideas for living, adaptation and efficiency to reimagine the dormant potential within found systems.
