Jigna Umeria

About

I have been working with Kingston University since 2017 and have previous teaching experience on foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Alongside my role at the university, I am a freelance Communications Consultant and Content Editor, working across different industries, from retail and branding to publishing and marketing.

I have a multidisciplinary background, a BA in design and an MA in writing. During my studies at Central Saint Martins (University of the Arts, London) and the Royal College of Art, I established interests in our relationship with the objects that surround us, consumer behaviour patterns, the world of retail, contemporary design trends, and alternative manufacturing processes.
