As a Lecturer in screenwriting, I currently lead the Level 6 module 'Writing TV Drama' and lecture on Level 5 'Screenwriting' as well as contributing to modules across both the Media and Creative Writing programmes.
I am a practising screenwriter and experienced script consultant. My most recent writing credit, The Level, a six part crime drama created and written for ITV, was screened in 2016. Additional credits include Shetland and Casualty for BBC One and two series of Leonardo for CBBC. As an editor and producer, I have supervised hundreds of prime time drama scripts into production for TV, including as a Series Editor for BBC Drama Series and at Thames Television and as Producer on two series of Casualty for the BBC.
I also teach regularly on the Screenwriting MA at the London Film School and for the MA in Television and Film, Royal Holloway, London and as mentor at the Canneseries Institute, the development programme for new television writers from across Europe run by Canal Plus in France.
