Mr Paddy Molloy

About

I am an illustrator, animator and educator. I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Illustration Animation.

My practice and research interests lie in the collaborative potential for illustration and the combination of image and space to locate narrative and animate histories. My commission for House of Illustration, Crossing Time, used the landscape of King's Cross as an archive to document and reinterpret the fluid nature of place.  I recently curated Marking Domains, a conference that explored the territorial boundaries of both the domestic and public realm as location for illustration and narrative images. My professional practice often sees me collaborating with theatre to devise narrative and develop visual content for integration within their productions. These include the National Theatre Studio, Barbican, Young Vic, Unicorn Theatre and Liverpool Playhouse.
