Ms Jane Dundas

I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and my area of teaching expertise is in clinical leadership and management in healthcare. I teach on the MSc Clinical Leadership programme and on other undergraduate and postgraduate modules. My clinical background is in neuroscience nursing specialising in stroke prevention and stroke rehabilitation, before this I was also self-employed for several years and have continued interest in entrepreneurship and innovation.I joined the University in 2012 and am currently a link lecturer for Croydon NHS Healthcare Trust, working in collaboration with practice partners, to develop the quality of student clinical placements. I am also a member of the editorial board of the British Journal of Neuroscience Nursing and review articles for publication in healthcare management journals. My research interests lie in development of creative teaching methods, applying principles of active learning to promote students' personal growth and clinical leadership development.
