We are ranked third in London for Economics (Guardian league tables 2023).
Studying economics will help you to understand why people, businesses, and governments make certain decisions and the consequences of those decisions.
Studying economics will challenge your intellect and develop your problem-solving and analytical skills. You'll gain skills in data analysis, using industry standard IT facilities and well-rounded, independent, and critical thinking skills, that are highly valued by employers.
You can choose to study financial economics which explores how the economy and the financial system are connected. Or you may choose to study business economics which focuses on the real-life application of the subject.
You'll have the option to study abroad at one of our partner universities.
Embedded within every course curriculum and throughout the whole Kingston experience, Future Skills will play a role in shaping you to become a future-proof graduate, providing you with the skills most valued by employers such as problem-solving, digital competency, and adaptability.
As you progress through your degree, you'll learn to navigate, explore and apply these graduate skills, learning to demonstrate and articulate to employers how future skills give you the edge.
At Kingston University, we're not just keeping up with change, we're creating it.
