Am I eligible to apply for a place in halls?
We will offer accommodation to students who make the University their firm or insurance choice through UCAS. All applicants will be offered accommodation subject to availability.
To be eligible for accommodation, you must:
- be studying at Kingston full time for at least one full academic year on a Kingston University course, and for the first time; and
- be an undergraduate student or an international postgraduate student whose home is more than 15 miles from Kingston train station in a straight line.
Kingston is one of the fastest growing universities in England with 2,574 rooms available in our halls of residence. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a room to every first-year student who applies and meets our eligibility criteria.
International students
International non-EU students who apply for halls accommodation in good time are guaranteed an offer of accommodation for our halls of residence during their first year (providing they meet our eligibility criteria).
