Upgrade Masterclass: Developing a Growth Mindset

Explore how changing the way you think about your natural talents and abilities increases your motivation and will help you to deliver on your career development goals. Is creating your growth mindset the key to fulfilling your potential?

Azmat will share his experience of creating and using a growth mindset for himself and how it has helped the organisations he is connected to.

Graduating from Kingston University in 1990 with a BEng in Electronic Systems Engineering, Azmat has since specialised in marketing for both major technology brands and start-up companies, having developed and delivered successful growth and marketing strategies.

Azmat recently returned to Hewlett-Packard (HP) as Global Head: Consumer Product and Segment Marketing, having previously been employed there after graduating.

About Upgrade masterclasses

Upgrade your professional skills with this annual series of masterclasses. Kingston University Alumni Association, Kingston Entrepreneurs Society and Kingston Business School present a collaborative series of events aimed at students and alumni.

The masterclasses will explore a variety of different areas, with the intention of developing skills and 'upgrading' everyone who attends. As well as self-improvement, the masterclasses will provide a fantastic opportunity for students, alumni and industry professionals to network and share ideas; and Kingston University is a hive of ideas. We have produced the most graduate start-up companies of any higher education institution in the United Kingdom for the sixth year running!

Booking is essential to attend this event.
