Kingston University app, Microsoft Outlook app and BlackBoard Mobile Learn app

You can access Kingston University information and services such as course timetables, email, StudySpace, library account and catalogue, live bus information, campus maps by downloading the following apps:

  • Kingston University app
  • Microsoft Outlook app
  • Blackboard Learn app

Kingston University app

The Kingston University app is available on iPhone and Android platforms and also provides access to two apps that will help you with your studies. You can download these separately from your app store. Alternatively you can view the web version.

Microsoft Outlook app

This can be used for accessing Kingston University's 'My Mail service'. It is accessible in app stores. The Kingston University app will prompt you to download the Outlook app if it is not already installed on your mobile device.

Once downloaded, click on 'Add an Account', select 'Exchange', then enter your Kingston University email address (or if you're a member of staff your Kingston University number followed by and Kingston University password and click on 'Log In'.

Blackboard Learn app

This is used to access StudySpace on your mobile device. The Kingston University app will prompt you to download the BlackBoard Learn app if it is not already installed on your mobile device.

When the app is installed on your device, in the 'Search For Your School' text box enter, 'Kingston University'. Select the 'Kingston University' link that appears and type in your Kingston University username and password into the login box.

Other apps

There are unofficial apps such as AppGrad. You are strongly advised not to enter either your Kingston University username or password if prompted when using such apps.

These unofficial apps have not been approved by Kingston University IT Services, so we cannot guarantee what security measures are in place to protect any details that may be entered, how these details are stored and used or who may have access to them.
