Ireland: Friday 14 July – Monday 17 July 2017

Grab a four-leafed clover and head for the Emerald Isle. Experience the best Ireland has to offer both in the capital city and the beautiful West Coast.

Itinerary for the trip

  • Day 1: Dublin
    Enjoy a walking tour that will cover Dublin's Castle, Medieval Walls, Viking remains, famous churches, Ha'Penny Bridge and other highlights. Afterwards, enjoy a free evening. Overnight in Dublin.
  • Day 2: Burren and Cliffs of Moher
    Today we visit the Burren, a unique geographical environment and steeped in the ancient pagan history of Ireland. Then travel on to the dramatic and stunning Cliffs of Moher, rising 650ft from the Atlantic. End the day in Galway, the centre of the Gaelic speaking regions of Ireland as well as birthplace of the traditional Irish Claddagh Rings. Overnight in Galway.
  • Day 3: Clonmacnoise and Dublin
    On the way we make a stop at the remains of one of Ireland's most important medieval monasteries, Clonmacnoise, founded in the 6th Century AD. The tour ends at the Guiness Storehouse where we will take a tour of the brewery (included) and have a pint at the Gravity Bar, overlooking the city. 

What is included in the price?

This trip is offered in conjunction with Proscenium Tours. Price per person is £289, if booked before 31 May. Price per person is £309 if booked after 1 June. Included in the price is:

  • return transfer from Kingston to Gatwick airport;
  • return flights to Dublin;
  • three nights' hostel accommodation; and
  • walking tours, entrance to the Guinness Storehouse, Cliffs of Moher and Clonmacnoise Monastic site; and
  • a tour manager throughout the tour.
