I am Finance Business Partner for Kingston School of Art - Business Partners are dedicated finance specialists who work with the leadership team of a specific faculty or department. Their work can include:
- Financial modelling: for new course proposals and developments and impact on budgets of more strategic changes to portfolio reviews
- Interpreting management reports and providing value added insight to budget holders
- Developing business cases
- Assisting the leadership team on input into the University's strategic plan
- Explaining how the RAM methodology works both at University and faculty/department level
- Assisting with the financial implications of new and existing contracts
- Monitoring the financial status of faculty/department activity
- Identifying and exploiting value-for-money opportunities
