Faith and Spirituality annual lecture: Can we change the world?

The annual Faith and Spirituality lecture will question the place of faith in promoting positive action for a better world.

Loretta Minghella, head of the international relief and development charity, Christian Aid, will consider some of the most acute challenges facing human society, the barriers to progress and the way in which these can be overcome through vision, determination and commitment. Loretta will offer a message of hope about how the world's story can be changed and the lives of the disadvantaged transformed.

Along with its partners, Christian Aid is engaged in projects across the world to alleviate the plight of those who suffer poverty, injustice and disease or who are victims of natural and human disasters.  We will hear about this work and the impact it is having on those commitments that are most in need.
