Do you have a business idea, but don't know where to start? Are you new to the entrepreneurial journey and feel that you need more confidence and practical skills to build your business?

Join Kingston University alumni Rowan Minkley and Rob Nicoll as they share their journey from creation to award-winning startup, and everything they learned in-between. 

Founded as part of their final project when studying Graphic Design at Kingston School of Art in 2017, Chip[s] Board® is an eco-friendly alternative to chip board and MDF made from potato waste.

Since the pair graduated in 2017, Chip[s] Board® has won top honours at the annual Santander Entrepreneurship Awards, as well as winning the Creative Conscience gold award and the July Shell LiveWIRE competition. The product has also been exhibited in Los Angeles and featured on a BBC4 TV show, and recently saw Rowan announced as the UK's 'most promising young engineering entrepreneur' by the Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub.
