Kingston University is a secular institution which has no commitment to any particular faith or belief. Many beliefs and faiths however, are present in the University which is a very diverse community.
At Kingston University, we have a number of faith facilities, which can be found on our Inclusive Facilities maps (PDF).
The following faith facilities are available for our students and staff to access:
The Faith and Spirituality Centre is open to students and staff of all faiths and none from Monday – Friday. It is located on the ground floor of the main building on the Penrhyn Road campus adjacent to the Student Union offices and social space. The centre includes the Faith Advisor's office (PRMB0031), a Quiet Room (PRMB0032) and Prayer Space (PRMB0033) and can be accessed from the entrance opposite the FASS undergraduate office.
The purpose-built facility contains spaces for prayer, worship, meditation, reflection, meetings and discussion, as well as religious washing rooms and office space.

There are two prayer rooms in Hut 1 on the terrace level. Hut 1a (male) and 1b (female). Access to the prayer rooms is via an access code, obtainable from the Nightingale Centre. Please remove shoes.
If you require religious washing facilities please use toilets by the launderette in Kenry House, or on the 'terrace' near to the School of Education. There are showers upstairs in Kenry House which may be used for foot washing.
A multi-faith quiet room is available for all students and staff to use for prayer, reflection and meditation, located on the ground floor of the Hawker Wing (RVHW.003).
Islamic students also arrange rooms as required.
Please use the Penrhyn Road facilities which are less than five minutes' walk from Knights Park.
