Library services for students from partner institutions

If you are studying at one of our associate colleges, you may be able to access and borrow from any of the four Kingston University library sites. Please contact your course administrator for more details.

Kingston University is also part of the South West London Academic Network (SWAN), in alliance with Royal Holloway, University of London and St George's, University of London. More information for SWAN students.

Our associate colleges include:

  • Guildford College
  • Kingston College
  • Richmond upon Thames College
  • Roehampton University
  • St George's, University of London
  • South Thames College
  • West Thames College

A variety of items can be borrowed from the libraries, including academic texts, DVDs and videos, CDs and records, teaching resources, sheet music and slides. You will also be able to use resources such as journals, newspapers, the statistics collection, the study skills and careers collections, and facilities including DVD players, photocopiers and music centres.

An increasing range of key resources can be accessed electronically, both on and off campus, such as e-books and electronic journals and databases. Library staff will be able to introduce you to these resources, provide the appropriate passwords, and give advice on accessing these resources off campus.

Library and Learning Services is here to support you in your studies at Kingston. If you are unable to find what you need or require additional help, please ask a member of staff. There is a dedicated subject librarian for each of the teaching areas. They will be able to help you find specialist resources in your subject area.
