Aerospace and mechanical engineering courses

Our undergraduate aerospace and mechanical engineering degrees offer an innovative programme and excellent links with the industry. We specialise in a variety of areas including; automotive, aerospace, aviation and astronautics and space technology.

You'll benefit from our hands-on practical approach to education. You'll learn how to design, manufacture and operate aircraft, spacecraft, rockets and satellites in our industry standard facilities, which include a rocket propulsion laboratory, wind tunnels, a mission control room, a Merlin flight simulator, manufacturing workshops, a satellite ground station, 3D design studio and workshop, mechanical engineering workshop, a Lotus Exige, and cars and motorcycles built by engineering students.

As well as developing your practical engineering skills, our courses are designed to boost your employability and to prepare you for senior positions and management roles in the future. Our graduates have gone on to work for leading organisations including Boeing, BAE Systems, Mitsubishi, Airbus, Eurostar, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Monarch Airlines and the British Army.
