Biography

Professional background- Currently a senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing , specialising in child and adolescent mental health, Autism and ADHD as well as psychological therapies CBT. I have been teaching for 5.5 years at Kingston University and continue to do some independent clinical work. I worked in  NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health services for 12 years. 

Research experience- apart from studying to Masters level i have been involved in a few pieces of research within the school of Nursing. I recently co-wrote a book chapter for an international open book resource for initial teacher training focusing on anti-bias education which is part of a three phase project and will be published in 2024.
