I have taught since 2007 and have been a guest critic at various schools of architecture in the UK and Portugal.

I have developed research in architectural education and design studio teaching, having written several papers and presented the work of my design studios in international conferences in the UK, Spain and Portugal. I am 

I am currently undertaking my doctoral studies at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. My research is focused on the multivalency of the sketch as an instrument of conception in contemporary architectural practice. My PhD thesis will entail the study of Álvaro Siza's sketchbooks held at the Canadian centre for Architecture in Montreal and Drawing Matter in UK.

I am interested in the roles of Typology and Topography in Architectural education and Methodologies of design Studio teaching & learning.
