About

I am a registered  nurse who has been working across  the acute care such as HDU, acute medical units, A&E and Cardiac nursing. I  have been working clinically and managerially. I was a ward manager prior  to become a Cardiac Nurse Specialist and had the opportunity to develop a new cardiac services for the trust. I also have been able to develop virtual clinic for my cardiac patients. I have been actively involved in  cardiac research.

My role in academia  involved in the planning, development and delivery of moving and handling across all nursing programmes and leading Nursing Associates modules and teaches both within the University and in clinical settings. I am  passionate about high quality of nursing care  and teaching  therefore  I took this new role at the University as this was my ambition.
