Ms Amanda Lewis

About

I am Course Leader for the BSc and MSc Historic Building Conservation programmes, with specific responsibility for teaching matters that concern the interaction of built heritage assets and the regeneration of urban environments.  This current role is founded on 25 years of teaching in the built environment disciplines of Architecture, Real Estate, both Building and Quantity Surveying and also Town and Country Planning.  My research activities are based on the pedagogy of sustainability in the professional education of these built environment disciplines.  Both teaching and research were consolidated through my directorship of a Centre of Excellence funded by HEFCE initiative and the subsequent opportunities that emerged.
