Green Impact is a University-wide champion network which facilitates departments across the University to take action on sustainability. Staff members work through a bespoke online toolkit which is audited and marked by student volunteers.
Benefits of joining the network include, an increased awareness of sustainability issues, learning how to make positive sustainable change in the workplace and home, meeting other like-minded staff members and taking an active role in supporting the University's Sustainability objectives.
Kingston University ran its Green Impact scheme between 2011 and 2015 and recently relaunched the network in 2021. Here are some highlights from our 2021 campaign:
Kingston University is now entering its second year of the scheme and Green Impact teams will be submitting their evidence demonstrating sustainability action in the autumn term (2022/23). If you have any questions about the network or would like some further information please contact sustainability@kingston.ac.uk.
